The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) announced electricity suspension from 9 am to 4 pm due to maintenance work on three grid-stations on Saturday. Spokesperson LESCO informed that three grid-stations remained closed, which included Badami Bagh grid station, Shahdara and Allama Iqbal Town due to which specific areas will suffer electricity shutdown.
The load-shedding was carried out to assist the installation of new panels in the Grid Stations following to which inhabitants of Gawalmandi, Akbari Gate, Masoom Shah, Wasanpura, Delhi Gate, Rustam Colony and few others faced inconvenience.
