KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Friday at 21,979.86 points with a negative change of -447.92 and volume of 126,253,400 shares. High and Low were 22,431.56 and 21,882.72 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 6 were up, 24 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 270,791,530 shares. Total companies traded were 363 of which 84 were positive, 254 were negative and 25 were unchanged.

Commercial Banks was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 97,330,400 shares. It was followed by Cement with a total traded volume of 52,137,750 shares.
