RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Tuesday at 22,543.74 points with a positive change of 90.25 and volume of 84,451,200 shares. High and Low were 22,581.71 and 22,199.36 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 12 were up, 17 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 132,327,750 shares. Total companies traded were 376 of which 148 were positive, 198 were negative and 30 were unchanged.

Chemicals was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 36,880,790 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 13,541,300 shares.
