RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Wednesday at 23,208.86 points with a positive change of 188.86 and volume of 148,680,200 shares. High and Low were 23,404.59 and 23,022.56 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 22 were up, 7 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 255,170,746 shares. Total companies traded were 378 of which 218 were positive, 141 were negative and 19 were unchanged.

Chemicals was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 45,782,420 shares. It was followed by Cement with a total traded volume of 42,412,600 shares.
