As many as 80 plots of various sizes, situated in five blocks of M A Johar Town have been discovered during land audit being carried out by the Strategic Policy Unit of Lahore Development Authority (LDA). Besides ownership documents, no record of payment of dues, taking over possession or any other proceeding on relevant files was traceable about these plots during the audit.
These plots are situated in G1, G2, G3, J1 and H blocks of Johar Town. LDA has uploaded list of these plots on its website besides advertising it in leading national newspapers. Persons claiming to be the owners of these plots have been urged to immediately contact the Urban Planning Specialist, LDA, if they possess ownership documents of any of these plots. LDA will sale these plots through open auction and no excuse will be entertained afterwards, in case otherwise. It is to be mentioned that the Strategic Policy Unit (SPU) of LDA has started land audit of various housing schemes of LDA. Land audit of MA Johar Town, Lahore was being carried out in the first phase.
