Habib Bank Limited (HBL) joined hands with Pakistan Super League (PSL) as the tournament's title sponsor of the first ever Cricket League Series for Pakistan. With this partnership, the league will now officially be known as HBL Pakistan Super League, as announced at a press conference held on Tuesday. The highlight of this press conference was the unveiling of the HBL PSL logo.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman HBL PSL Governing Council, Najam Sethi said, "I want to thank HBL for partnering with us. When we went to the market, we knew that the time was right for distinctive brands to join us on this exciting journey and this is exactly what happened. The HBL PSL is going to be a grand event and I am particularly excited about HBL's marketing plan for promoting this association." The Chief Marketing Officer HBL, Naveed Asghar said, "HBL, Pakistan's largest bank, is honoured and delighted to partner with Pakistan Super League to bring the largest cricketing event of Pakistan - the HBL PSL. HBL is a national institution that has always played an instrumental role in promoting sports and sportsmen, especially cricket, with some of the largest sporting stars in the country having realised their dreams with HBL."
