Most of the commodities tended lower on the local grain market on Tuesday in the process of trading, dealer said. On the grams side, Guwar Sindh lost Rs 100 to Rs 3600-3700, Guwar Burma fell by Rs 300 to Rs 3400-3500, Grams Australia No 1 followed the same, losing Rs 50 to Rs 8700, Grams Australia Dall No 2 fell sharply by Rs 1100 to Rs 9600, Grams 50x50 shed Rs 125 to Rs 8500, gram Dall 50x50 was down by Rs 1300 to Rs 9300, other items maintained overnight levels, they said.
On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low type was down by Rs 50 to Rs 2760 and the good variety was lower by Rs 60 to Rs 2810, they said. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh shed Rs 25 to Rs 1825 and Rs 1900, they said. On the cereals sector, Urad Burma posted fresh gain of Rs 500 to Rs 18500 due to strong demand, other commodities fluctuated slightly and closed at the overnight levels due to balanced demand and supply, they said.
