KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Wednesday at 21,269.22 points with a negative change of -855.47 and volume of 74,343,000 shares. High and Low were 22,124.69 and 21,242.38 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 0 were up, 30 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 117,598,250 shares. Total companies traded were 343 of which 28 were positive, 300 were negative and 15 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 17,124,100 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 12,244,300 shares.

The top three advancers were Rafhan Maize Products Company Limited with a volume of 20 and price per share of 8,350 (360.00), Murree Brewery Company Limited with a volume of 3,950 and price per share of 746.88 (16.88), Pakistan International Container Terminal Limited with a volume of 9,600 and price per share of 264.06 (12.57).

The top three decliners were Nestle Pakistan Limited with a volume of 20 and price per share of 11,300 (-200.00), Colgate-Palmolive (Pakistan) Limited with a volume of 20 and price per share of 2,845.01 (-146.99), Pakistan Tobacco Company Limited with a volume of 20 and price per share of 2,150 (-80.00).
