SOFIA: Bulgaria's consumer price inflation quickened by 2.2 percent on the year in March after February's 2.0 percent rise, mainly due to a rise in prices of services, data from the statistics office showed on Monday.
Consumer prices fell 0.3 percent on the month in March after a 0.3 percent increase in February, the office said.
Under the EU-harmonised index, where non-food prices have more weight, consumer prices rose 1.9 percent on the year in March and fell 0.2 percent on a monthly basis.
The finance ministry EU-harmonised annual inflation at 1.9 percent at the end of 2018.
