KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Friday at 25,913.25 points with a positive change of 7.70 and volume of 133,157,900 shares. High and Low were 26,264.25 and 25,796.86 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 14 were up, 15 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 248,146,670 shares. Total companies traded were 370 of which 180 were positive, 164 were negative and 26 were unchanged.

Chemicals was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 37,968,820 shares. It was followed by Cement with a total traded volume of 32,050,450 shares.
