Independent candidate Jamshed Ahmad Khan Dasti won the NA-178 seat by defeating his rival from PML-N Muhammad Abaad Dogar, according to unofficial results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan. Jamshed Dasti achieved 79,198 votes while his PML-N's rival Abaad Dogar bagged 63266 votes.
