KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Friday at 24,015.63 points with a negative change of -128.57 and volume of 81,194,500 shares. High and Low were 24,169.33 and 23,967.59 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 9 were up, 21 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 193,397,480 shares. Total companies traded were 363 of which 132 were positive, 219 were negative and 12 were unchanged.

Chemicals was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 31,707,400 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 27,130,000 shares.
