Karachi Kings name new captain

Karachi Kings have named Eoin Morgan as their new skipper in place of injured Imad Wasim on Wednesday.

As per details, Imad had to be stretchered off after he tumbled backwards to grab a catch of Sohail Khan, hitting his head on the ground as he completed the brilliant catch.

The all-rounder was taken to medical facility, where he was kept under observation for 24 hours. He was declared stable soon after, but was said to have suffered from a mild concussion.

However, he was discharged from the hospital yesterday (Tuesday), but was advised to take couple of days rest.

Announcing the new skipper, Karachi Kings tweeted: “Breaking News: In the absence of injured Imad Wasim who has been advised couple of days rest, KK is proud to announce England T20 and ODI Captain Eoin Morgan as the new skipper of #KarachiKings @Eoin16 @Salman_ARY #HBLPSL3 @thePSLt20.”

Karachi Kings will now face defending champions Peshawar Zalmi tomorrow (Thursday).
