“Two surprise elections results.”

“Ï wasn’t aware that local government elections….”

“Would you just shut up.”

“But….but.…”

“Don’t splutter.”

“Please enlighten me, I really want to know.”

“I reckon that first the much talked of constitutional amendment will be approved by a two third majority from parliament that would allow the federal government to begin the process of adding on as many additional provinces as it deems appropriate and then the question about local government elections may be, mind may be, tabled or not.”

“Oh but however small a province may be a local government by definition would be….”

“Shush, you are irritating me. Anyway going back to which elections I was referring to when I mentioned two surprise election results I was referring to Brazil and in Serbia.”

“Wasn’t that one each?”

“Excuse me?”

“One change for the West, which is Serbia, if you recall Vucic who has lost, supported diplomatic relations with Russia while the European Union technocrats are onto their, was it twenty third or fourth sanctions package, against Russia which is hurting their own member countries industry and their energy costs are sky high….”

“Vucic is crazy!”

“Why? He wanted European energy costs to be as low as before, and that is possible only if they do not sanction Russian oil….”

“Hey the Europeans have developed a taste for cutting their nose to spite their face. But I wasn’t referring to that – Vucic actually conceded defeat. Who does that in the new international order!”

“Hey don’t be facetious….”

“It’s never been done here has it and the leaders of our political parties have much more experience in politics than Mr. Vucic with his 12 years in power…”

“Stop, the second country was Brazil where President Lula was elected and his opponent has stated that he would challenge the results….”

“For your information the weather was very bad in some Brazilian states on election day and Bolsonaro requested extension of the voting time by two hours for five states and only then did Lula ask for an extension of the time in ten states, and two of the states were common and….”

“President Trump was supporting Bolsonaro, does that mean Brazil would be dealt with before Cuba?”

“Don’t be facetious anyway I reckon Mian sahib, since he is the only one with time on his hands these days, should set up a University for pre, during and post-election behaviour….”

“Not happening.”

“He can charge a fee in dollars.”

“Let me get back to you.”
