KARACHI: Faysal Bank Limited (FBL) delivered a resilient performance for the nine months ended September 30, 2026, posting Profit Before Tax of Rs 31.3 billion and Profit After Tax of Rs 15.2 billion, translating into earnings per share of Rs 10. The Board has declared a third-quarter cash dividend of Rs 1.5 per share (15pc), in addition to the Rs 3 per share already paid for the first half of the year.

Total assets stood above Rs 1.8 trillion, as the Bank took a measured approach to balance-sheet growth while prioritising the quality of its funding. This was supported by trade and transactional flows, a growing customer base and an expanding branch network.

Deposits rose 9.3 percent to Rs 1.56 trillion, led by a 20 percent increase in current accounts to Rs 642 billion. The current account mix improved to 41.2 percent from 37.5 percent in December 2025, and CASA rose to 85.2 percent from 81.9 percent. In line with its prudent lending stance, the Bank’s Advance-to-Deposit Ratio moderated to 50.1 percent from 61.1 percent in December 2025. Asset quality remained robust, with an infection ratio of 2.4 percent. The successful issuance of a Rs 7 billion Tier II Sukuk further strengthened the Bank’s capital base.

These results underscore the strength of FBL’s Islamic banking franchise, its disciplined approach to risk and a growth strategy increasingly powered by digital, technology-led, women-focused and customer-centric solutions.

Mian Muhammad Younis, Chairman, Faysal Bank, said: “Alhamdulillah, I thank our customers for the trust they continue to place in us. Serving them with excellence, across every branch and digital channel, remains at the heart of everything we do. As a leading Islamic bank, we remain committed to broadening access to Shariah-compliant finance and contributing meaningfully to Pakistan’s economic progress.”

Yousaf Hussain, President & CEO, Faysal Bank, added: “These results reflect a clear strategy built on a low-cost, transaction-led deposit franchise, disciplined risk management and a stronger capital base. Our next phase of growth will be driven by scaling digital banking, deepening our trade and transaction capabilities, and reaching more women and underserved customers. These priorities position Faysal Bank to deliver sustainable value for all our stakeholders.”
