KARACHI: Nestlé Pakistan’s net sales for the nine-month period ended September 30, 2026, rose to PKR 160 billion, representing growth of 6.3 percent.

The sustained sales performance was mainly driven by increased investment behind brands, consumer-centric innovation and renovation (I&R), focused marketplace execution, and strengthened export routes to market.

An improved topline, disciplined overhead management, and a continuous focus on value chain optimization initiatives resulted in an increase of 8.1 percent in gross profit compared to the same period of the prior year.

However, at the operating profit level, this improvement was reduced to 5.9 percent, mainly due to increased investment behind brands and higher distribution costs, driven by rising fuel prices. Net profit after tax improved by 3.1 percent compared to the same period of the prior year, despite the impact of higher taxation expense.

Due to ongoing geopolitical instability, continued volatility in energy and other input costs, and elevated inflation driven by fuel prices, the Company maintains a cautious outlook for the full year 2026. While inflationary pressures will continue to influence consumer spending and operating costs, the Company is well positioned to navigate these challenges.
