ISLAMABAD: Dr Abdullatif Bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, called on Field Marshal, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces (COAS & CDF), Gen Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi.
During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, regional security situation and bilateral defence and security were discussed.
The COAS & CDF underscored the longstanding fraternal relations between Pakistan and Bahrain, rooted in shared values and mutual respect.

He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in the defence and security domains.
The visiting dignitary appreciated the professionalism and operational preparedness of Pakistan Armed Forces, reiterated resolve further enhance bilateral cooperation and acknowledged Pakistan’s contributions towards regional peace and stability.
