LAHORE: Pakistan’s automotive industry marked a significant milestone today as Haroon Akhtar Khan, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Industries & Production, inaugurated the commencement of regular exports program of Pakistan-manufactured Suzuki Alto and Suzuki Every to Brunei Darussalam; at the Pakistan Auto Show 2026 in Lahore.

This significant achievement by Pak Suzuki reflects Pakistan’s growing capability to manufacture high-quality vehicles that meet international standards and customer expectations. It also demonstrates Suzuki Motor Corporation-Japan confidence in the manufacturing capabilities, technical expertise and quality standards of Pakistan auto parts supplier, as more than 65% of the parts used in Alto are produced locally, highlighting the growing strength and capability of the country’s automotive supply chain.

Hiroshi Kawamura, Managing Director of Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited, underscored the broader importance of the occasion for Pakistan’s automotive industry stating “Today is a proud moment not only for Pak Suzuki but also for Pakistan. The export of Suzuki Alto and Suzuki Every to Brunei is more than a commercial achievement; it is an international recognition of the quality, reliability, and competitiveness of vehicles manufactured in Pakistan.
