HYDERABAD: Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards Muhammad Ismail Rahoo Sunday inaugurated the Digital E-Library at Hyderabad Law College as the chief guest.
Addressing the ceremony, he said that digital e-libraries had become an essential requirement for educational institutions in the modern era, enabling law students to access relevant legal material and judicial decisions with just a click. He said the facility would help students pursue their studies without difficulty and provide them with quick access to essential legal resources.
The minister appreciated the administration of Hyderabad Law College for introducing the modern digital library and said the facility would benefit both students and faculty members, contributing to improved standards of legal education and supporting timely access to justice.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor University of Sindh Professor Dr Fateh Muhammad Marri said that digital e-libraries had assumed the status of the backbone of educational institutions in the era of information technology.
Principal Hyderabad Law College Ghulam Sarwar said the introduction of the digital e-library aimed to provide students with modern educational facilities while enhancing their academic and research capabilities.
Director IT Hyderabad Law College Raja Aleem Yousuf gave a detailed briefing on the college’s digital system, website and other online facilities. He said 500 books had been uploaded to the e-library, providing students with valuable legal resources. He added that the digital system was aimed at bringing greater transparency to administrative affairs and making the learning process more efficient and accessible.
