The Airport Health Department, Border Health Services-Pakistan, has announced that Umrah pilgrims departing from Pakistan will be required to carry NADRA-integrated digital vaccination proof for international travel.

According to a notification issued by the Airport Health Department on September 7, 2026, the measure covers polio, meningitis, yellow fever and influenza vaccinations.

The department said travelers will not be allowed to travel without NADRA-integrated vaccination proof after September 14, 2026.

Airlines have also been directed to ensure that their travel agents inform Umrah pilgrims about the new requirement.

Pilgrims can obtain vaccination certificates from authorised vaccination centers, while vaccination and online entry facilities will also be available at international departure areas.

Passengers seeking vaccination at the airport have been advised to reach at least six hours before their flight.

The notification further states that no other vaccination card will be accepted after September 14.
