RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Monday at 24,129.42 points with a positive change of 294.79 and volume of 63,577,600 shares. High and Low were 24,175.47 and 23,834.63 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 22 were up, 7 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 109,725,100 shares. Total companies traded were 360 of which 208 were positive, 131 were negative and 21 were unchanged.

Chemicals was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 24,174,300 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 12,433,500 shares.
