Delta flight makes emergency landing in Atlanta

NEW YORK: A ‌Delta Air Lines flight with more than 200 people aboard ​made an emergency landing ​in Atlanta on Saturday after ⁠crew reported fumes in the ​cockpit, a spokesperson for the ​company said.

One crew member and one passenger sought medical attention, airline ​spokesperson says via email.

Crew ​members on Florida-bound Flight 2204 declared an ‌emergency ⁠shortly after takeoff, and the plane returned to the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Delta Air to resume flights to Israel starting June 7

Delta said ​in ​a statement ⁠that passengers evacuated from the plane by ​slides and were being ​transferred ⁠to a new flight to Orlando.

The plane carried six ⁠crew ​members and 199 ​customers, Delta said.
