PM holds talks on trade, investment with Croatian delegation
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday called for stronger bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Croatia, with a particular focus on trade and investment, information technology, connectivity, agriculture, tourism and skilled manpower.
During a meeting with a Croatian delegation led by Foreign and European Affairs Minister Dr Gordan Grlic Radman, he said Pakistan valued its friendly relations with Croatia, describing them as being based on cordiality, mutual respect and shared interests.
Sharif conveyed his best wishes to Croatian President Zoran Milanovic and Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic and invited both leaders to pay official visits to Pakistan at their convenience.
Dr Radman thanked the PM for the warm welcome and said he was honoured to visit Islamabad.He congratulated Pakistan and its leadership on their role in regional peace efforts and reaffirmed Croatia’s desire to expand bilateral cooperation across areas of mutual interest.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch also attended the meeting.
