LAHORE: On the directions of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, a historic and exemplary programme has been launched for the restoration of road infrastructure throughout Punjab.
The CM has directed the authorities to ensure strict adherence to timelines, quality standards and transparency in all road construction, repair and rehabilitation projects.
Maryam Nawaz said that road construction and rehabilitation work under the “CM Local Roads” Programme is progressing rapidly towards completion in various districts across the province.
The chief minister also declared compliance with lane and line discipline mandatory in Lahore and all major cities of the province. She has already approved multi-billion-rupee transport infrastructure and bus stop projects in Faisalabad, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi and Multan.
