PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has become active in efforts to address concerns of dissatisfied lawmakers within his party, sources said.
According to sources, the chief minister visited the residence of MPA Abdul Ghani Afridi late at night, where he held a meeting with him. Party insiders said Sohail Afridi also made several telephonic contacts with other disgruntled members of the provincial assembly.
Meanwhile, some MPAs have reportedly
conveyed their reservations to the party’s central leadership.
PTI sources said the central leadership has urged the chief minister to properly accommodate the concerned lawmakers and resolve their grievances.
On the other hand, Abdul Ghani Afridi stated that the meeting focused on the overall development of Khyber district. He added that the discussion also covered public issues and possible measures to address them.
