One dies after hit by train in Karachi

KARACHI: In a tragic incident on Friday near the Landhi Jumma Himayati Goth railway crossing, a person was killed after being hit by a train.

The identity of the victim is unknown, and the estimated age is between 55 to 60 years.

Edhi Ambulance Services immediately transferred the body to Jinnah Hospital for further proceedings. Meanwhile, the authorities of Landhi Railway Police Station have initiated an investigation to ascertain the circumstances of this tragic incident.

The police are seeking public assistance as efforts are underway to identify the deceased. This incident highlights the ongoing safety challenges at railway crossings, necessitating increased awareness and precautionary measures.
