LAHORE: A delegation of senior civil servants from Bangladesh visited the Commissioner Lahore Office on Tuesday, where they received a briefing on the city’s administration, revenue generation, cleanliness initiatives, measures addressing climate change, and initiatives from the Chief Minister of Punjab.
During the meeting, the Director General of the Civil Services Academy, Farhan Aziz Khawaja, delivered an introductory speech on the collaboration between the civil services of Pakistan and Bangladesh. Commissioner Lahore Marryam Khan discussed the administration and public policy of Lahore, while District Commissioner Lahore, Ali Ijaz, provided details about the city’s administrative operations and mechanisms. Bangladeshi civil service officers received a comprehensive briefing on climate change measures, as well as the performance and challenges faced in this area.
