Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Tuesday chaired a meeting of the Cabinet Committee for Monitoring and Implementation of Fuel Conservation and Additional Austerity Measures, reviewing progress on the government’s cost-cutting steps, his office said.

According to a statement shared on X, Dar expressed satisfaction over compliance with the austerity measures and stressed that, given the current challenges, all sectors must continue practicing conservation and austerity until circumstances improve.
