602 criminals held during current month

FAISALABAD: The police claimed to to have arrested 602 criminals from Faisalabad during current month of March.

Police spokesman Amir Waheed said here Sunday that among the criminals include 248 proclaimed offenders, 135 drug peddlers, 79 illegal weapon holders, 69 target offenders, 66 gamblers and five court absconders.

The police also recovered bet money of Rs 66,566, 60 pistols, eight guns, two Kalashnikovs, two rifles, a revolver, a number of rounds/cartridges, 28.345 kilograms charas and 1,937 litres liquor from them.
