In their special messages on the occasion, the President, the Prime Minister, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering moral, diplomatic, and political support for the just cause of Kashmir, and reaffirmed the nation’s resolve to continue advocating for the rights of the Kashmiri people at all international forums.

Emphasising the need for the implementation of relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister called for the holding of a free, fair, and impartial plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir under UN auspices to determine the will of the Kashmiri people.

He also urged the UN and OIC leadership to play an effective role in addressing and improving the alarming human rights situation in IIOJK.

Ahead of Kashmir Solidarity Day, a comprehensive briefing was organised for Islamabad-based diplomats to apprise them of the prevailing situation and ongoing human rights violations in IIOJK.

Earlier today, officers and staff members of the Ministry participated in the Solidarity Day Walk held on Jinnah Avenue, demonstrating unity and strong support for the Kashmiri cause.

A wide range of activities, including seminars, webinars, public rallies, and photo exhibitions, are also being organised at Pakistan’s diplomatic missions around the world. These events aim to express unequivocal solidarity with the Kashmiri people and to highlight the continued human rights violations in IIOJK.
