Naqvi for expediting work on Capital Smart City project

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has directed the officials concerned to expedite work on the Capital Smart City project in Islamabad.

He issued these directions during his visit to Safe City headquarters in Islamabad, a press release said on Sunday.

The minister said basic civic facilities like Rescue 1122, traffic and security will be integrated into the central system in the smart city, according to the press release.

He said the Capital Smart City project will be adopted as a model to make Islamabad the safest city.

Naqvi said the scope of Smart City project will be extended to the entire country.
