PARIS: European Union soft wheat exports since the start of the 2025/26 season in July reached 10.80 million metric tons by December 21, compared with 10.52 million tons the previous week and down 2percent from a year earlier, European Commission data showed on Tuesday.
EU barley exports totalled 5.07 million tons, compared with 5.01 million tons a week earlier and up 130percent from the corresponding period of 2024/25.
In imports, the volume of maize shipped into the EU so far this season had reached 7.81 million tons, against 7.49 million a week earlier and down 21percent year on year.
