ISLAMABAD: Airblue Tuesday extended its congratulations to Arif Habib consortium on successfully prevailing in the privatization process of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), marking a major milestone in the evolution of Pakistan’s aviation industry.

“This is a significant and consequential development for Pakistan’s aviation sector,” said an Airblue spokesperson. “The transformation of PIA presents both challenges and opportunities, and we are confident that Arif Habib consortium’s leadership can reposition the airline as a stronger, more competitive, and sustainable carrier.”

As a leading airline and long-standing stakeholder in Pakistan’s aviation ecosystem, Airblue emphasized the importance of collaboration across the industry to ensure sector-wide growth, operational excellence, and improved customer experience.

Airblue reaffirmed its willingness to engage constructively with the new PIA management and to offer support where appropriate in pursuit of shared objectives that strengthen the aviation sector and contribute to national economic development.

Airblue wished Arif Habib consortium and the new PIA management every success as they begin this next chapter.
