KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 100,490 tonnes of cargo comprising 63,153 tonnes of import cargo and 37,337 tonnes of export cargo during last 24 tonnes ending at 0700 Hours.
The total import cargo of 63,153 tonnes comprised of 59,361 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 1,818 tonnes of Chickpeas & 1,974 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The total export cargo of 37,337 tonnes comprised of 14,587 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 223 tonnes of B. Bulk Cargo, 2,283 tonnes of Cement, 10,744 tonnes of Clinkers & 9,500 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Around, 06 ships namely, Ital Universo, Carl Schulte, Xin Los Angeles, Spectrum N, Alora & Hsl Perth berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Approximately, 08 ships namely, Msc New Haven, Twerk, Sea Fortune, Wan Hai 623, Kmtc Nhava Sheva, Wan Hai 316 & Carl Schulte sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
