KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Wednesday forecast dry weather accompanied by cool to cold nights and misty mornings across the plains of Sindh, including the Karachi Division, over the next two days.
According to the weather outlook, dry conditions will prevail through Thursday, and Friday, with temperatures gradually dipping during the night and early morning.
On Thursday (December 11), the city will see dry weather with a cool night and a misty or foggy morning. Minimum temperatures are likely to remain between 11°C and 13°C, while maximum temperatures may reach 28°C to 30°C.
Morning humidity is forecast at a high 85 to 95 percent, with evening humidity ranging between 35 and 45 percent. Wind patterns will remain similar, shifting from north-north-easterly to west-south-westerly later in the day.
The same pattern is expected on Friday (December 12), with dry weather, a cool night, and a misty or foggy morning anticipated. Minimum temperatures are forecast between 12°C and 14°C, and maximum temperatures between 27°C and 29°C.
Morning humidity will remain high at 85 to 95 percent, reducing to 40 to 50 percent in the evening. Winds will again shift from the north and northeast to the west and southwest.
The PMD has advised the public to expect cooler nights and reduced visibility during early morning hours due to light mist or fog across the division.
