KARACHI: The organising committee for the Pakistan Peoples Party’s Karachi Division Foundation Day rally held meeting on Friday, with Sindh Labour, Human Resources and Social Protection Minister and President PPP Karachi Division, Saeed Ghani in the chair, to finalise preparations for the upcoming public gathering.
PPP’s City President said the party’s Karachi Chapter was celebrating its 58th Foundation Day with exceptional enthusiasm, adding that the upcoming central rally is a testament to the workers’ deep commitment to the party.
The meeting was attended by Karachi Division General Secretary Rauf Nagori, Raja Razzaq, presidents and general secretaries of all four districts, as well as representatives of the Peoples Students Federation, Peoples Youth, Peoples Ladies Wing, and Peoples Minority Wing.
Speaking at the meeting, Saeed Ghani announced that the rally will begin at 1 pm on Sunday, 30th November.
He said special parking arrangements have been ensured on both sides of the venue, while separate enclosures have been set up for men and women.
Ghani added that a dedicated route has been designated for media personnel to access the venue of the rally.
He directed all district office-bearers to ensure that their respective PS units arrive at the venue in an organised manner. He further stated that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari will address the gathering via video link.
District presidents briefed the meeting on the preparations within their respective areas for the Foundation Day rally. They also informed the committee about the rallies scheduled in their districts on Saturday, 29 November, ahead of the main event.
PPP Karachi Division General Secretary Rauf Nagori said the party is celebrating its 58th Foundation Day with great enthusiasm. He added that office-bearers and workers from all districts, city areas, and subsidiary wings are energised and fully engaged in preparations.
He expressed confidence that the rally, to be held at Korangi 3½ ( Korangi sarhey teen) on 30th November, would prove to be one of the greatest in Karachi’s political history.
