KARACHI: Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair in his message on International Women's Day said that the rights of women in Islam are very clear and women are treated very respectfully in the Islamic society.
He said that the women section of Pakistan played a significant role in progress and development of the country and their contributions towards the judiciary, law enforcement agencies and administration are commendable.
The Governor said that women are being provided with opportunities in every field in the country and their participation is being ensured.
The women of Pakistan are actively participating in education, research, politics and other sectors, he added.
He said that the present government is encouraging the women to play their role in the progress of the country.
