BOGOTA: Ex-FARC guerrilla leader Rodrigo "Timochenko" Londono is withdrawing from Colombia's presidential race due to health reasons, a senior member of his party said Thursday.
Londono is pulling out after undergoing open heart surgery on Wednesday, Ivan Marquez, a senate candidate and senior member of the political party formed by the ex-guerrillas of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, told reporters.
