KU to hold flower exhibition on March 12

KARACHI: The opening ceremony of a four-day flower exhibition 2018 organized by the Center for Plant Conservation of Karachi University (KU) will be held on March 12, at 4.30p.m at the KU Botanical Garden.

Vice Chancellor of the KU Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ajmal Khan will inaugurate the exhibition, said a statement on Wednesday.

According to Director of Center for Plant Conservation Karachi University Prof. Dr. Anjum Perveen, the center for Plant Conservation not only gathers scientific information of the plants in Pakistan but also plays a vital role to preserve them.

The purpose of the said programme is to promote awareness among the people regarding plants and flowers.
