The Multan Sultans have been on a roll recently and now that they have defeated reigning champions Peshawar Zalmi last night (Tuesday) by 19 runs, Sultans looks to continue with their winning spree against Quetta Gladiators tonight at Dubai.
The Sultans have cemented their place at the top of the points table with nine points under the belt, owing to top batting display from middle order batsman Sohaib Maqsood, who played a fine knock of 85 runs of 41 deliveries, featuring four boundaries and seven maximums.
Maqsood’s inning of 85 runs were the most runs minted by a batsman in an inning in this PSL season, which has been dominated by bowlers. Meanwhile, Sohail Tanvir was equally if not more impressive with the ball, picking up three wickets of 14 runs in his four overs.
A good day all in all. A win for the @MultanSultans with a scintillating batting display by @sohaibcricketer and a great win for @OfficialSLC over india.

The Sultans boosting the likes of Kumar Sangakkara and Imran Tahir and skipper Shoaib Malik, is a dangerous side and they have already beaten the Gladiators in their last encounter, so history favors them as well.
Meanwhile, the Gladiators would be looking to amend their mistakes, as they were blown away by Sultans by eight wickets in their last match. The Gladiators are positioned fifth at the points table with a score of four.
The inconsistency with the batting is a major worry for Gladiators, however, the entry of Kevin Pietersen can provide a turnaround for the Gladiators.
