HYDERABAD: The academic convocation 2019-2023 continued on the second consecutive day at the University of Sindh Jamshoro on Tuesday, celebrating the achievements of graduates with the awarding of degrees, gold and silver medals to deserving students.

The prestigious Allama I.I. Kazi Special Award for University Top Gold Medal was presented to four outstanding students, with two awarded on December 23 and another two on December 24.

Gold medals were distributed to top achievers across various Faculties, including Arts, Commerce & Business Administration, Education, Engineering & Technology, Islamic Studies, Law, Natural Sciences, Pharmacy and Social Sciences. A total of 81 gold medals were conferred, including Campus Top distinctions and the Dr. N.A. Baloch Special Award. In addition, 367 silver medals were awarded to graduates across all Faculties, acknowledging their remarkable performance. Over 1715 students received their bachelor’s and master’s degrees during the 2nd consecutive day of convocation, which marked a significant milestone in their academic journeys.

Vice-Chancellor Professor (Emeritus) Dr. Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro, along with Pro-Vice Chancellors, deans, and other dignitaries, conferred degrees and medals.

Graduates from affiliated campuses also received their degrees in the presence of their respective Pro-Vice Chancellors and focal persons.
