Huge quantity of spurious drugs seized

LAHORE: An FIA team in Faisalabad, led by the provincial drug inspector, seized a huge quantity of tranquilizers/spurious drugs and arrested four persons.

According to FIA spokesman, the team conducted raids on Zohaib Pharmacy and Abdullah Pharmacy in Super Jalvi Market, Jaranwala Road, Faisalabad, and recovered a huge quantity of spurious drugs including 440 dorjesice injection, 1300 avil injection, 150 lincocine, 100 ativan tablets, 1500 unregistered needles and 300 disposable syringe.

These drugs were being sold to addicts, according to officials.

The FIA team arrested Zohaib Hassan, Ghulam Pervaiz, Sajid Ali and Muhammad Kashif. Cases have been registered.
