STOCKHOLM: Swedish inflation and inflation expectations are at the central bank's 2 percent target and the Riksbank should therefore start hiking rates, Deputy Riksbank Governor Henry Ohlsson said on Tuesday.
"As I see it, inflation is on target," he said at a parliament questioning.
"Inflation expectations has also been on target for over 2 years, which shows the stability in the expectations".
Ohlsson also said monetary policy could not lower unemployment further.
