ZAGREB: Croatia sold 1.12 billion kuna ($186 million) worth of one-year treasury bills taking up all bids on Tuesday, with the yield staying unchanged at 0.09 percent for the fifth consecutive auction, Finance Ministry data showed.
The result beat the ministry's target of 850 million kuna.
Virtually all the bills were bought by banks.
The ministry occasionally also auctions bills with 3-month and 6-month maturities as well as ones denominated in euros.
After the auction Croatia's overall short-term debt in the local currency rose to 19.76 billion kuna from 19.51 billion.
