KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Monday at 24,586.96 points with a positive change of 84.41 and volume of 67,786,200 shares. High and Low were 24,636.17 and 24,451.27 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 13 were up, 17 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 137,042,470 shares. Total companies traded were 359 of which 170 were positive, 172 were negative and 17 were unchanged.

Chemicals was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 10,306,150 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 6,915,000 shares.
