ISLAMABAD: Newly elected Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed on Saturday thanked President Pakistan Muslim League(N) Nawaz Sharif for reposing confidence in him and nominating him for Senate elections.
Talking to mediamen here at Parliament House, he said success of PMLN was reflective of the sovereignty of the Parliament.
PMLN Senator Mushahidullah said despite all the conspiracies, nobody can stop people from choosing their leadership.
He said success of his party’s candidates in the Senate elections showed that the narrative of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was getting acceptance.
Mushahid said those who abused Parliament did not come to vote for their candidates.
