ISLAMABAD: Chief Executive IESCO Dr Muhammad Amjad Khan has said that the first responsibility of the IESCO management is to take the best measures to protect its esteemed customers and its line staff from electrical accidents. In this regard, the electricity wires passing near the houses are relocating to safer locations at IESCO’s expense.

According to the latest details, 10,000 points were identified by the field formations and consumers on which 8793 points have been secured by taking immediate and timely action and the expenses of more than 1573 million incurred on them were borne by the IESCO administration itself and proved that IESCO is a customer-friendly organisation.

All these operations are being directly supervised by Chief Engineer Operation Muhammad Aslam Khan. Consumers should report wires passing near or over their houses, weak and crooked transformers to the concerned SDO office so that timely action can be taken to protect the electrical points that may cause danger to human life.
