Customs recovers weapons parts from passenger

KARACHI: Pakistan Customs JIAP Airport Collectorate Karachi has successfully recovered military arms parts and accessories from a passenger, coming from Chicago, United States.

The customs staff stationed at the International Arrival Lounge of Jinnah International Airport intercepted a Pakistani passenger named Adnan Hashmi, who arrived in Karachi from Chicago, United States via Turkish Airlines flight TK 708.

The customs staff grew suspicious of the passenger’s luggage during routine questioning, and upon further inquiry, the passenger denied carrying any prohibited or duty payable items.
