RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Wednesday at 24,048.70 points with a positive change of 196.45 and volume of 79,261,900 shares. High and Low were 24,115.47 and 23,852.25 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 23 were up, 5 were down and 2 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 151,361,130 shares. Total companies traded were 378 of which 193 were positive, 165 were negative and 20 were unchanged.

Chemicals was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 27,187,500 shares. It was followed by Refinery with a total traded volume of 16,259,500 shares.
