ISLAMABAD: Minister for Federal Education & Professional Training Engineer Baligh-Ur-Rehman on Wednesday said that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) government has strengthened democracy in the country and this journey will be continued in future.
He said that democracy will not be affected by the courts' decisions against Nawaz Sharif as PML-N has implemented the decision within seven days as per the party constitution, Radio Pakistan reported.
"I would reject the predictions about differences within the PML-N", he added.
Such predictions are aimed at destabilizing the political system in the country, said, adding, Strengthening of political parties is a sign of strong democracy and we should strengthen the political system and avoid spreading anarchy.
Minister for Law and Justice Chaudhry Mahmood Bashir Virk also said, PML-N believes in strengthening of democratic system.
"PML-N has always served the nation and it is wisdom of its leadership that the situation of the country is far better than 2013,” he added.
Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmed said PML-N has given a clear message to the nation that we believe in the flawless functioning and continuation of political system and democracy.
